A late message about the cruise
Dear Chairman and members, We too had a very happy time on the Cruise, and Thank You. On reading the letters in the last Kent Active, I realised that no-one had mentioned the Choir?. My husband and I joined the choir and we greatly enjoyed the experience. Our choir was 100 strong. Two of our Ashford folk went on the ‘Celebration’ shortly after we did and they also joined the choir, but this choir was only 30 strong.
They spoke to Richard Sykes and mentioned KentARA and he said that “They were great!” A cousin of mine also joined the ‘Celebration’ at the end of October and there was no choir. When Richard Sykes and his team had a session of questions and answers about their work - for us it was overflowing - but for October there were only about 2 dozen. Everyone joined in things so well - no wonder he thought that we were great!.
My cousin told me that Richard has now changed ships to a different one in the Thomson fleet. PLEASE, if we go again, can we join the ship on which Richard Sykes is working. He did so much work to make things go well. Thank you also to those who gave a hand to the blind when they were needed.
